Grant Guidelines

Our full application guidelines are now updated and are published at the bottom of the page.

A Glimmer of Hope UK does not award funding to or for:

  • The benefit of a single individual or family. This means that applications for funding for educational needs, equipment for special needs/disability, respite care/holidays or individual volunteering activities will not be accepted.
  • Projects outside London UK (unless a trustee has invited an application).
  • Projects in organisations with more than £100,000 income (unless a trustee has invited an application).
  • Building/premises purchase or improvements.
  • Capital projects where the only funding requested is to purchase equipment.

Unfortunately we do not have the resources to respond to applications for funding that are clearly excluded by one or more of the above criteria.

Application guidelines

The trustees meet every two to three months to consider applications. Applications deadlines for 2008 are:

Tue 15 Jul 2008
Tue 7 Oct 2008

Trustees meetings take place 9 days after the above deadlines. Applications which are received after the deadline will be rolled over to the next trustees meeting.
