Terms of Use

In no event shall A Glimmer of Hope be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that result from the use of or inability to use our website, including but not limited to reliance by you on any information obtained from A Glimmer of Hope or that results from mistakes, omissions, interruptions, deletion of files or email, errors, defects, viruses or delays in operation or transmission of data.

Every donation to A Glimmer of Hope represents a donation to our mission of helping to lift women and children out of extreme poverty in rural Ethiopia. When you make a donation to A Glimmer of Hope, you are given the opportunity to designate your donation for a specific project, such as the funding of a water well, school building, health clinic, or microfinance loan, within a particular community in Ethiopia. If you do not designate your donation for a specific project, A Glimmer of Hope will assign your donation to a project of our choice. If you do designate your donation for a specific project, your donation will be used as requested until that project need is fully met. Once that project need is fully met, if there are funds remaining, A Glimmer of Hope reserves the right to re-designate the remaining funds to be used where we determine they are needed most. In order for your donation to qualify as a deductible donation for tax purposes you must relinquish the ownership and custody of your donation to us for use at our discretion, and you will have no legal recourse in the event that you or your recipient believe charitable desires are not being fulfilled.
