How do I give to a Campaign?

Firstly, find the campaign that you want to give to through the "Browse Campaigns" link located under the Campaigns menu tab at the top of the page. Once you have located the campaign and clicked on its link, the Campaign Page is displayed. Clicking on the "Donate" button on the top right hand corner will initiate a Donation to A Glimmer of Hope on behalf of the Campaign Owner. A Glimmer of Hope is a registered 501(c)(3) charity and all donations are fully tax deductible.

How do I create a Campaign?

In order to create a Campaign, you must first be a registered user of the site. Create an account here. Once you have created a member account and have validated your email address, you can then create a Campaign by clicking on the "Start a Campaign" link located under the Campaign tab at the top of the site. This option is only available to logged in users.

How do I notify my friends about my Campaign?

Once you have created a Campaign, you can "Tell Your Friends" about by going to the tab at the top of your Campaign page. From here, you can send emails from the site to your friends by simply keying in their email address, and customizing the email that is being sent. Alternatively, by navigating to the "Import Contacts" tab allows you to import all your contacts from Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail or LinkedIn and selectively choose who will receive your email.

What will you do with my Friends email addresses?

Nothing. Absolutely Nothing. We will not use those email address for any communications from A Glimmer of Hope. If your friends decide to donate or join the site, we will ask them directly if they want to hear from A Glimmer of Hope.

How do I make my Campaign part of one of the Groups?

When you are creating a Campaign there is an option to choose the specific group or team that you want your Campaign to belong to. You can always go back to your Campaign page, click on edit, and modify the Group that the Campaign will contribute to.
