The community of Lega Tafo is a suburb of the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa. As one would expect, it is very different from a Western suburb. There are a few upper class housing developments for those who want to live outside the urban center of Addis. However, these developments do not show the pulse of the town the way the donkeys and carts and small mud buildings do. Though it is close to the big city, Lega Tafo remains a small rural town in most ways.
