In August 2008, a group of families from all across the United States, traveled to Ethiopia and shared a remarkable experience. We each welcomed into our lives children who would forever change us. We have experienced the amazing gift of adoption, and now as a group we want to give back! We are committed to funding a clean water point in southern Ethiopia, the same region where our beautiful children are from! Though one of the most basic of needs, so many in Ethiopia go without a clean source of water.
Over 250,000 people in Ethiopia die each year due to water borne illnesses, most of them young children. The gift of clean water to these people has a profound effect as 80% of all illnesses are due to the dirty water they drink. We have a wonderful opportunity to drastically improve thousand of lives by providing them access to clean, life giving water! Please join us in this opportunity.
