June Leys 100th Birthday Wish

I’d like to introduce you to my grandmother, June Leys. She’s about to reach 100 (June 3rd ) and instead of ride a horse, jump from a plane or attempt any other self interest endeavors, her birthday wish, is to dig a well in Ethiopia. She accomplished this for her 95th birthday and is going to attempt it again this birthday.

With your donations we would like to see her achieve this special goal.

We hope to raise enough to have a well Memorialized in her honor, we need $5000 to make this happen, I’m not asking for a lot (unless of course you wish to) but any amount will be graciously appreciated.

I have seen her life as one truly fulfilled in her later years by becoming involved in supervising local church programs in her native British Columbia to raising money for drilling water wells, to mentoring those with broken and frayed lives.
