Jeff's shoe campaign for Camp Glimmer

In this year's playing for Glimmer campaign I am focused on helping provide a new pair of shoes for every camper who attends Camp Glimmer this summer. RunTx has set up a great deal for Glimmer to be able to buy running shoes at a very low price for each camper. My goal is to help camp Glimmer by raising money for those campers shoes. Every summer camp glimmer gives 100s of children an opportunity to experience the joys of a first class summer camp. And best of all, it's free for them. They get to play tennis, basketball, volleyball, and street hockey as well as go on nature hikes and day trips like Sea World, Volente Beach and Fiesta Texas. I have volunteered the past few summers to help at Camp Glimmer where I teach tennis. This summer I will do the same and hope to help provide new shoes for each kid as well. Here's a bit more about A Glimmer of Hope: A Glimmer of Hope lifts women and children out of extreme poverty in rural Ethiopia. Using an entrepreneurial model developed by the organization, it provides clean water, schools, health clinics and microfinance loans. 100% of all donations go directly to funding these projects, more than 4,000 to date. Over the last 10 years, A Glimmer of Hope has improved 2.5 million lives. Through photos, video and GPS coordinates, donors personally experience how their contributions, large and small, are changing lives.
