We LOVE to bake ... AND, we LOVE to help people! We decided to combine these two interestst to help raise money for the Gonok project in Ethiopia. This area is where Katherine Spencer's brother, Breck, did his first "walk for water" with the women and girls who live in Gonok. He walked for 45 minutes carrying a jerry can and it was a huge challenge and learning experience for him. Breck has re-created the "walk" at Austin Tennis Academy and they are working to raise $20,000 to go towards the GOH project that will bring water to the people of Gonok.
