Water is Hope

We are sending love to Ethiopia and invite you to join us! By purchasing the "Joy of Ethiopia" notecard collection, you are helping to bring clean water to the people of rural Tercha, Ethiopia. Currently the people in Tercha have to drink from a spring, visably contaminated by dirt and animal feces. 80% of all illnesses in Ethiopia are caused from drinking contamindated water. Over 250,000 children will die each year from diarrhea. Imagine the health and hope that will be given to these people when they have clean water for the very first time! With your help, we will change hundreds of lives!

By making a $25 donation, you will receive a beautiful, hand-made collection of notecards celebrating the beauty and joy of Ethiopia! With a $50 donation a second collection of notecards will be sent.  More importantly, every dollar you give will go directly to providing clean water to so many who currently don't have a safe drinking source.

As soon as a donation is made, your contact information will be forwarded to me and a package of notecards will be sent to you within a few days. You will also be updated as progress is made in bringing clean water to Tercha. Our goal is to have all of the money raised by March to ensure the people of Tercha have clean drinking water by the end of 2011! Thank you so much for your love and support!
