| Meals on Wheels and More Meals for Kids Meals For Kids' purpose is to nourish and promote healthy eating habits by providing free hot meals after school to children at various public housing complexes. All the meals are all planned by a registered dietician. |
| East Austin Soccer Club A Glimmer of Hope Soccer Founded in 2002, the East Austin Soccer Club’s low registration fees and “no child turned away” policy are the core of the club’s mission to serve the youth of East Austin regardless of their playing ability. |
| Austin Children’s Shelter Healthy Kids ACS provides emergency shelter, high quality care and hope for the future to the abandoned, abused and neglected children of Austin. This program provides expert medical and dental care to those children. |
| Capital Area Food Bank Kids Cafe Kids Cafe ensures at-risk children receive appropriate nutrition in order to develop properly and perform well in school. Recreation centers in low income areas serve as the primary sites for feeding the children. |
| Prairie View A&M Foundation Getting Fit and Health Among African-Americans, deaths from heart disease and diabetes have reached epidemic proportions. This program focuses on nutrition and physical activity to encourage lifestyle changes for young adults. |
| Hoop Zone Balls for Girls & Boys Balls for Boys and Girls participants must agree to live by a Code of Conduct on and off the basketball court. The Code dictates they show respect towards their teammates, coaches and officials, work hard at their studies and live a healthy lifestyle. |
| Central Texas Tennis Association Eastside Tennis for Boys and Girls In 1998, CTTA was formed as a community-based organization that provides life lessons to at-risk youth through the sport of tennis. Since then, it has reached more than 1,500 Austin children. |
| Austin CAN Academy Athletic Programs Founded as an educational alternative for youth who have experienced difficulties in a regular school setting, one of the academy’s goals is to have an athletic department that is on a par with any district in the state. |
| Camp Fire USA Outdoor Education Program The programs include hiking, backpacking and paddling. Austin has a wide selection of parks and the experience of guided tours can be the beginning of life-long appreciation for the outdoors for at-risk youth. |
| The Arc of the Capital Area East Austin Food Pantry Administered by the Arc of the Capital Area, the East Austin Food Pantry offers food, clothing, baby items, cleaning products and personal hygiene items to people who are having trouble covering their basic needs. |
