| Worker’s Defense Project Immigrant Workers’ Rights This initiative works to reverse a trend whereby many immigrant workers in the Austin area frequently go unpaid for their work by protecting those workers’ employment rights and empowering them to recover unpaid wages. |

| Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Area Teen Nights Teen Night offers young people aged 13-18 a safe place to be and positive adults to be with during a time of the week when the potential to either inflict or be the victim of negative behavior is at a premium. |
| YMCA of Austin Swim Safe Austin’s many lakes, rivers and pools make it dangerous for people who don’t know how to swim. Swim Safe for Austin Kids teaches basic swimming to children who otherwise might not have access to this life-saving skill. |
| CASA Travis County Mirroring a Child Many young people today face growing up without the guidance of an adult they can look up to. To remedy this situation, CASA provides foster children with a mentor they can go to for help during difficult situations. |
| River City Youth Foundation I Can Be Me – Dove Springs Dove Springs is one of the areas of Texas most at risk for juvenile delinquency. RCYF focuses its efforts on programs aimed at helping youth lead happier lives, obtain a good education and experience success. |
| Latina Mami Platica Classes Latina Mami provides support to Latina mothers and their children. It is run by community members who, as they are women of color themselves, understand the issues faced by young Latina mothers and their families. |
| Girl Scouts Uniquely Me Self Esteem Program The Uniquely Me! Self-Esteem Program addresses the issue of low self-esteem among girls aged 8-17 by offering a curriculum that builds an understanding of self-esteem and how to foster it in themselves and in others. |
| Council for At-Risk Youth STARY Nearly 60% of boys classified as bullies by age 14 go on to be convicted of at least one crime by age 24. STARY (Successful Transitioning for At-Risk Youth) is working to reduce that statistic in Austin schools. |
| Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Area @ Southwest Key Club By partnering with Southwest Key, the Boys & Girls Clubs have been able to reach at-risk youth that were not being served by its existing locations. Activities including arts and crafts, sports and teen clubs are offered at this site. |
| Mission Possible! Austin Project Hope This innovative program fights illiteracy and juvenile crime among youth living in economically disadvantaged communities. Its unique approach focuses on illiteracy as well as character issues and behavior problems. |
| Family Link Children with Disabilities Family Link helps children with disabled brothers or sisters overcome their fears in addition to empowering youth with disabilities and their families to improve their relationships with one another. |
| Austin Idea Network HT College and Career Program The program is aimed at improving the self-esteem, career awareness, life skills and job skills of minority college students in East Austin. Elements include: career workshops, a speaker series, and an internship program. |
| Frameworks Community Dev. Finance: The Next Generation Credit card debt among young people has risen dramatically in recent years leaving many vulnerable to financial collapse. This program offers people aged 18-25 courses on banking, budgeting, home buying and investments. |
